The 2027 UCFB Sports Entrepreneurship Competition is now OPEN to entries !

This exciting competition provides UCFB Students with the opportunity to pitch their business idea to a panel of UCFB Executives and WIN up to £5K in funding at a Dragon's Den style pitch event to kick-start your new business or business expansion! You can learn more about the competition here. 

Now, it's YOUR turn - from idea you discussed with a friend then forgot about to an existing business which can be scaled-up and everything in-between, it's time to submit your entry for the 2025 competition! At this stage, all you need to do is click 'Register' and then complete the short SurveyMonkey form which tells us more about your business idea.

Please Note: Where there is more than one business partner, only one application should be submitted with all business partners names' submitted on the one entry.

For shortlisted candidates, there will be a Webinar series which aims to support you to succeed with your pitch by bringing together the experiences and insights of former competition winners and experienced entrepreneurs from the world of sport. The four-part webinar series will cover key areas of your pitch; Business plan writing, Market analysis & USPs, Financing your business and Socio-Environmental impact with an underlying theme of succeeding in your pitch to help you develop or hone your pitching skills.
