On the agenda
FTF Agent Education - Level 1 could be your first step onto a pathway that leads you into an exciting career as a Football Agent.
In April 2015, FIFA de-regulated Football Agent activity and gave Agents the new title of 'Football Intermediaries'. FIFA's changes effectively mean that there are no longer any 'licensed' Football Agents and no barriers to entry (like the FA Exam or the FIFA bond). As a result, almost anyone can set themselves up as a Football Agent/Intermediary. Many will see this as an opportunity to break into an industry awash with money.
The seminar will be led by Tony Sharkey, Football Intermediary at FTF Agent Education
Tony, a successful Football Agent for over 16 years, will provide you with his own personal account of how he started in the business. Tony will be joined by Ryan McKnight. Football executive McKnight has worked with several football clubs including Wolves, Port Vale and Stockport as well as being the former editor of FC Business magazine.
The Level 1 is an intensive three hour session. As well as Tony and Ryan providing you with practical tips, advice and guidance and a wealth of insider knowledge to help you get started, there are also three tasks to complete. Topics include:
How to get started
Working with Clubs
Working with Players (including Minors) and their families
Player attributes, strengths and weaknesses
FA Registration process
An update on FIFA's new rules and regulations going forward
Q & A
The seminar is suitable for all students interested in the world of football agents.
Over 250 aspiring Football Agents have now completed the Level 1
